MULTI DESIGN

Multi design

The function Diagram 1 (Ø = Ø) performs a multiple design of the currently selected product. All available diameters are calculated separately and the result is shown in five diagrams. The X-axis of the diagram contains the diameters and the Y-axes the respective results like:

1.Use of capacity

2.Force in rebar

3.Drill hole depth

4.Number of bars

5.Mortar amount

The individual layers (upper/bottom or front/rear) can be switched off or on in the legend.

The function Diagram 2 (s = s) also performs a multiple design, maintaining the diameter of the selected rebars and traversing the spacings in the given increment X-delta from X-Min to X-Max.

Error messages/warnings

The following list contains the most important warnings and error messages, which are automatically assigned to the existing or new structure. Furthermore, DesignFiX identifies in which layer the error occurs.

Existing structure

1)		The thickness is too small for the lap length! or The thickness is too small for the anchorage length!.
2)		The positions of the reinforcement layers are in reversed order!
3)		The component thickness is too small for the lap length! or The component thickness is too small for the anchorage length!
4)		The steel stress exceeds the design yield strength!
5)		The support is narrower than the plate.
6)		The application is calculable for a maximum of 100 bars per component!

New structure

1)		The spacing of the layer is insufficient!
2)		The concrete cover of the layer is insufficient!
3)		The left concrete cover of the layer is insufficient!
4)		The right concrete cover of the layer is insufficient!
5)		The user defined drill hole depth is too small!
6)		The tensile forces require a lap!
7)		The positions of the reinforcement layers are in reversed order!
8)		Normal forces require two reinforcement layers! or Shear forces require two reinforcement layers!
9)		The steel stress exceeds the design yield strength!
10)		New structure is placed outside of the existing structure!
11)		The distance between the zero point of the tensile force line and the axis of the support must be > 0!
12)		No loads defined!
13)		No bending moment given!
14)		No support moment given!
15)		According to the approval only compression load permitted!
16)		The distance between the post-installed reinforcing bars and the existing bars is relatively small.
17)		The application is calculable for a maximum of 100 bars per component!
18)		The iteration was canceled !

DesignFiX Information

If you select a product on the left side of the user interface then the logo of the manufacturer will be displayed at the right edge of the ribbon bar that contains further information. If DesignFiX finds a LiveUpdate then this information will appear at this point by means of an additional link.
